I made these chocolate brownies the other day and they are soooo good, so good that I can’t make them anymore for the fear of getting fat as I actually couldn’t stop myself from eating them! Doh.
I put some in cupcake cases to see how they turned out! They were a bit over done but I think if I had taken them out sooner they would have been fine, So will work on that for my cupcake section.
Here is the recipe –
200g Dark chocolate
175g Unsalted butter
325g Caster sugar
130g Plain flour
Pre-heat oven to 170c/Gas mark 3
Put the chocolate and butter in a glass bowl sitting above a saucepan of boiling water, leave until melted
Remove from the heat and add the sugar, stir until well mixed then add the flour, stir until well incorporated then add the eggs and stir until you have a thick and smooth mix
Pour mixture into a baking tin and bake for 30-35 minutes, It should be flaky on top and soft in the middle.
Be careful not to over cook these as it does ruin them, the best thing about these is the soft center and flaky outside, also these don’t take to long to make so are perfect for a dessert for a dinner party, they are best warm, you can serve with cream or a good ice-cream.
